Basic Beanie for 1.2kg Prem Baby

Materials

Yarn: 8ply (Moda Vera Marvel or Needles brand yarn)

Hook: 5mm

Gauge

8tr/5 rows = 5cm

sl st: Slip stitch

ch: chain

st(s): Stitch(es)

tr: treble crochet

[x]: stitch count

To begin chain 2, join with sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: ch3, (does not count as st here or throughout), 10tr into ring, join with sl st to first tr. [10]

Rnd 2: ch3, 2tr in each st around, join with sl st to first tr. [20]

Rnd 3: ch3, tr in same st, 2 tr in next st, *tr in next st, 2tr in next st*. Rep from * to * all the way around, join with sl st to first tr. [30]

Rnd 4 – 8: ch3, tr in every st around, join with sl st to first tr.

Rnd 9: ch3, tr in every st around, join with sl st to first tr. Fasten off and sew in ends.
